Anga graduated from the University of California, East Bay, with a Bachelor of Science, double major, in Nutrition and Physiotherapy in 1995. She decided to explore the relationship between food and herbal medicine leading her to study for a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, California in 2002. In 2008, Anga went on to study Chinese Herbal Therapy in Women’s Health at Shandong University, China.
In 2010 Anga practised as an Acupuncturist at the Yellow Emperor Clinics in Berkeley, California. She also taught Japanese Meridian Therapy and ran workshops for Acupuncturists at the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, AIMC, in Berkeley.
Anga collaborated with midwives as a doula for the UCSD Hillcrest Hospital, in San Diego as well as various fertility centres. Her experience as a therapist goes from her professional work as a doula to help induce birth to paediatric therapies such as Tui-Na y Shoni-Shin.
In 2013, she worked as a Fertility and Paediatrics specialist at the Tuset Clinic, Barcelona, Spain, using therapies like Doula to labouring women and women going through IVF procedure; Uterus Arvigo Massage and Wellness supplements and nutrition programmes, Immunology treatments with Dr. Tungs acupuncture; Adult Tui Na massage and Paediatric treatments for children using Tui Na therapy.
Between 2015 to 2017, Anga worked as a Clinician/Teacher in Zita West Clinic, Basement Clinic and John Tsagaris Clinic in London. She was also a Clinical Supervisor in College of Chinese Medical Arts Daoist Traditions in Asheville NC. At that time, she became a member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP), Oriental Medicine Division and licenced to practise Acupuncture in the UK.
Owing to demand, Anga runs Obstetrics and Paediatrics Practice clinics in Spain, treating women in their journey to fertility (natural fertility, insemination, IVF, donation or adoption), pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. She also treats children.
Anga’s extensive experience and considerable knowledge of the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in particular the principles of diagnosis, has allowed her to give good advice to patients and offer a wide range of treatments. She uses a wide range of strategies to treat patients using the techniques in which she is accomplished. She also uses moxibustion, muscle/bone testing, stretching and massage therapy, meditation, Qi gong techniques, acupuncture and acupressure. She offers dietary consultations and prescribes Chinese Herbs.
